Another year, another Fringe Festival season. This year, the kids participated in Sylvain Émard‘s Le Super Grand Continental, a half-hour choreographed dance number with a very large cast.
There were lots of rehearsals. Lots.
There were three performances, on the steps of the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Two took place in the day, and during the rain. But the nighttime one was dry, and really fun.
Here are the three minutes that the kids were in; frankly, I’m a little disappointed because I feel that Claude could have done the full choreography and would have gotten a whole lot more out of it, but socially, they were having a great time.
And there was a dance party afterwards, which definitely reminded me I NEED to go dancing more often!
