Wow. Claudia was dressed and downstairs cackling with laughter with her Outschool Mythology Club this morning, and Béla bathed the dog in the yard.

It’s their friend’s birthday, and he’s doing as much quarantining as we are (as everybody should be), so in the afternoon the kids played D&D together online for three hours.

In the evening, I’d have thought we’d have gotten more food prep done for the Fourth — not that I’m very proud of America right now — but I had gotten Disney Plus just for this month so we could watch Hamilton together on its premiere day.

And that was really worth it. Glad we didn’t pay for actual theatre seats but on TV it was fun. Béla knows every word.

Really nice day for them. So hard to think about what is happening in our country right now.
