NPR.org has a nice little printable zine for kids, explaining coronavirus. It was useful last night but frankly seems slightly out of date already. Still, we are prepared food-wise for a quarantine, and have all over the counter medications for treatment.
Béla wanted to record reading the zine out loud but was also kind of shy about it at first. AS STATED IN THE YOUTUBE DESCRIPTION, the video contains one lyric-based instance of profanity and some gallows humor. Nothing that would not be heard on a playground from or by eleven-year olds.
Making a project like this is not what every boy would do on a Sunday night. (He made it for Claude, who has always had a fear of “catching” sicknesses.)
